We had a snow day this week, and I thought it would be fun to make a treat for the family for breakfast. We had some blueberries in the freezer, and I was craving scones so I decided to go for it. They turned out absolutely perfect. I love adding lemon to many blueberry things because I think it gives such a nice freshness, so I added a couple drops of Young Living Lemon EO to the dough and topped it with a lemon glaze. Merry Christmas! We made these cookies first as something fun to do with the kids. We did not expect them to be that great. I mean, 3 kinds of chocolate sounds a little overwhelming and way too sweet. They have now turned into our favorite cookies and we have made them several times in the past few weeks. They are actually not too sweet, the different types of chocolate, salt, and peppermint really balance out and to make the dreamiest Christmas cookies.

On our very first Valentine's Day together, my then-boyfriend bought a heart-shaped waffle maker. We made waffles for dinner in my dorm room. Yes, I know, we are complete rebels.
